Half It
One trick I have found to save on baby wipes is to rip them in half. I know this might seem extreme, but it truly does cut back on the amount of wipes you will have to go through in a month. Not to mention that babies bums are so tiny and they really don't need a whole wipe every-time and you will need to buy wipes for 2.5-3 yrs. depending on when they become potty trained. Now their is an exception to this half wipe method, if your baby poops or has a blow out then by all means use as many wipes as you need to get the job done. The Huggies wipes rip the easiest and normally I wait until Costco comes out with one of their coupons and then buy them in bulk. I even rip them for wiping faces, clean-up or what not. Another great trick my mother-in-law told me is to rip your dryer sheets in half. You get the same laundry results as you would with a whole dryer sheet. So next time you are about to use something you can rip in half give it a try and see how you like it. :)

Better than Shaving Cream
Have you ever noticed how all the little things can really add up. Well a couple of years ago when my sister moved in with us I ran out of shaving cream real fast. Needless to say she told me about using cheap conditioner from the dollar store instead and we have been hooked ever since. If you never tried it before give it a shot. You will find your legs (or any body part) that you shave with conditioner are silky smooth compared to pricey shaving cream. The best thing about it is you don't have to worry about the razor burns or rashes afterwards and sometimes you don't even need lotion depending on the season. Here is a sample of one of the kinds you can pick up at the dollar store.
