DownEast Basics Warehouse in SLC

Today I had a few compliments on my skirt, so I thought I would share with you where I bought it.  I bought it for $7 at the DownEast Warehouse downtown on 1300S right behind the ghetto Walmart parking lot.  Most people don't know about this place, but my sister and I get the best deals on clothes here.  All of their camis and plain tees are two for $5.  All of their dresses are $10, pants and skirts are $7.  You get the idea.  The catch is that you have to be willing to look closely at the clothes, sometimes shirts have stains or might have tears in them.  Like I bought a white camisole for $2.50 knowing that is had stains on it, but I bought it knowing that I could easily get the stains out with bleach when I got home.  They have other brands as well such as Modbe, American Eagle and a few others if you are not into the DownEast clothing line.  Whatever you do don't wear a lot of layers there, you will have to try on clothes over your outfit as they do not have any dressing rooms.

Free Movie Tickets

So you want free movie tickets.  You need to go to this website: www.gofobo.com and register as a new user.  Once you are in their you can search for movie screenings in your area.  If it is a open screening that means anyone can click on the link and get tickets. If it is a private screening you will need to search on google and radio stations in order to get a rsvp code.  Most of the premiere screenings you do have to wait in line to pick up your actual tickets.  Megaplex theaters generally will give out the tickets in the afternoon at 4:00PM.  A good rule of thumb is too plan on getting in line for a half hr. before they give out the tickets so you can be guaranteed seats.  Each person is allowed to pick up two movie tickets unless otherwise specified.  Good luck!

Victoria Secret Special

This month Victoria Secret is giving out gift cards with secret amounts ($10, $20, $100, $500,etc.) that can be redeemed during the month of December.  The catch is you just have to spend $10 dollars at their store during the month of November.  Even if you just spend the minimum $10 required amount you will automatically receive it back in December or possibly a greater amount.  It is like a buy one get one free if you think about it.  Plus if you have a merchant card through them you always receive $10 gift card for your birthday and Christmas (no purchase necessary) and a endless supply of underwear.  I admit that I hardly ever use my merchant card with them, but I have kept it open just to receive my free gifts each year.  Happy Holiday Shopping!

I came across this cool website a week ago and I have to say I've been hooked ever since. For Black Friday they had a LG 42inch TV on sale for $150 and a nintendo wii package for $100. Crazy huh. I am sorry to say that I didn't buy either item, they sold out within 2 minutes and the system crashed as I was trying to check out.
